The CCC Stool
Comfortable, Compact, Curvy
Some people don’t have tools, so buying furniture that has to be assembled with screws can be a hassle. Inspired by flat-pack furniture, I designed a dining stool that was comfortable and easy to assemble/disassemble for those who need to be conscious about the usage of their space or are often moving from places.

Thought Process:
After assembling the miniature version to understand how the parts would slot into each other, I determined having the right and left inserts on top of the stool increased the time it took to put the stool together and could also be uncomfortable due to them jutting out where the user would place their legs. I chose to reduce stability to increase comfort and ease of use by only keeping the middle insert.
